most BBers do something close to a 40% protein, 50% Carbs, 10% Fat diet. Considering that carbs are in soooo many foods, it\'s actually pretty low. but what alot of them do now is the cyclical ketogenic diet, where they have less than 20g\'s of carbs per day, but eat around 200-500 on the weekend, as a carbo load, so that they have energy for the week. And Actually w/ the CKD, once your body goes into ketosis, you\'ll have ample energy, so the carbs aren\'t really neccecary for energy.
As for eggs, I believe that they can be beneficial....well the whites can be, since they have about 4-6 g\'s of protein per serving. However I only eat egg beater type eggs. They have 6g\'s of protein per serving, and ZERO fat and ZERO carbs...doesn\'t get any better than that.
