I was wondering if most people leave their game cube plugged into the outlet when not in use.The booklet says to unplug it but most people I talk to leave it plugged in.Someone told me that the built in battery only keeps settings for a couple of hours. Just wondering which is best( to plug or to unplug?) Thanks ahead for any input.:smokin:

Mine\'s been plugged in for more than a year now.  No problems.  Nintendo\'s just covering its butt in case lightning hits, rides through the wire, and fries your Cube while it sits there.

Highly unlikely, but still cause for lawsuit if it happens.

Plug it into a powerstrip.. because yeah, they\'re just saying that if you leave it plugged into an outlet a voltagespike can fry it.
