Who\'s playing Summoner 2 !!!! ??

Well I didn\'t see the ruins until after I did the tree of Eleh and a few other quests

but I used fire arrow with Maia. That seemed to work... ya may want to increase your fire "power" abbilities if ya can

I only found one ghost monkey and let it go at the pass where you here the monkey call, but then my trap disspaeared

Yead I did the the survival game a couple of times... Later on in the game money really doesn\'t become a problem

Ddaryll: Is Rosalind a playable character is this game? I still haven\'t find her yet. I\'ve just rescued Morbazan and Iari from  Unshandul in that place where all these weirdos wear masks.

Have u complete the game already??

I ownt spoil the whole Rosalind thing, just keep playing


and I have faced the final boass but I died.

I didn\'t complete the 2 side quests located in the Palace cause I thought I\'d level up then do it, but now its too late

I\'m a little pissed off cause the game doesn\'t let you save in places and now that I have faced the final boss and died I have to go back to mid way into the 2nd to last boss fight and beat it again beofre facing the final boss again


That really pisses me off. The last area proved to be more frustrating then fun for me.

Come to think of it, Maia character actually resembles Rosalind a lot!!! Anyway, I discovered this weird bug that I found in the PC version of Summoner 1, whereby when the camera is too close to the back of the character, you can actually see the face of the character is a sort of weird deformed inverted format behind them!!!

Weird!! Looks like they still carry some buggy codes from Summoner 1( PC version) and they actually re-used these codes on the PS2 Summoner 2....guess maybe that\'s why it isn\'t fully optimized for the PS2?

Oh well, I\'m now in that weird swamp place with lots of what...Roca?? This place is quite tough!!

I\'d have to agree. I never played Grandia or Grandia 2 and went right to Grandia Extreme. Needless to say, I wasn\'t happy with the game. Its so boring... You\'d have to really care for the Grandia series in my opinion to get something from this game...

there was a few area where the camera was fixed in the 1st Summoner game but 75% of the game offered areas where you could move and control the camera.

The 2nd one is better technically, and gameplay wise. The original had a better storyline, and progression.

Someone bought me a copy of Summoner 2 for my birthday, and it seems that this time I won\'t have any problem to play the game. That motion sickness feeling is gone finally.

hey! Anyone can tell me how to beat that stupid god in the Ancient Towers? It\'s the god with the force field and u have to hit the big eye to shut out his force field. I\'m at about level 13 to 15 but my team drop like flies! What\'s the strategy here??

Too bad, if possible, return it to the shop and says you\'d bought the wrong the title by mistake and actually wants Grandia 2.

Seriously, Grandia 1 was the best. I finished playing the Saturn japanese version! You should try to get the PS1 version. It\'s worth it.

1sr make sure you have regen on all characters and hopefully a strong healer

I used my ax dude (forgot his name) and went after they beating down the shield.

Ran away when I had too

when the shield was down I just ganged up on him and repeated

took a few tries

grandia 2 sucked on ps2, get the dc version, if u got a dc that is

It\'s hopeless. I change Maia to Summon immediately, leave Morzaban as a healer and take control of Taurguis(the axe dude) and ran to the eye and whack it down. however, even when the force field is off, my team is barely scratching  it\'s back...hit point is only a miserable 1 even from the summon monster!!! (I\'ve tried with all the 4 summon monster...makes no difference)And after a few seconds the force field is on again.

Does anyone have cheat codes for this game?? I don\'t have so much time trying to replay the same level again and again!

try equiping blunt wepons with Maia

take down the eye and team up against the boss

I struggled with it a little too

thats the problem with this game though. Its as if you are supposed to know way a head of time what will work and what won\'t but in reality its not that sipmple


try this, go in there and use a scan scroll or spell and get the stats. Find out its weaknesses and put on all the jewelry that strengthens you against its weakness

make sure you have a regen going on Taurgis, and set maia to melee, allow Morzaban to heal and melee


good game that falls short with nuances like the one your experiencing

I like the direction they are trying to take the genre, but they need to tighten it up quyite a bit

Blunt weapons for Maia!!!! I only uprgaded Maia sword skills!!! The Blunt skill is at a miserable 1 point!!!

Gosh!!!! I think this means I\'ll never get pass this level unless replay the whole game!!! Bah!!!!

use scan and find its weaknesses

then strengthen everyone in your party against its weakness
