That really depends, do you prefer EA Games or Sega games.

Same argument can be said about Madden vs. NFL 2K3

It\'s all about preference...
\"In the last 12 months 100,000 private sector jobs have been lost and yet you\'ve created 30,000 public sector jobs. Prime Minister, you cannot carry on forever squeezing the productive bit of the economy in order to fund an unprecidented engorgement of the unproductive bit. You cannot spend your way out of recession or borrow your way out of debt.\" - Daniel Hannan

just like he said it is all about preference.  I do prefer Sega over EA any day though.

I love every game in the 2K2 and the 2K3 series

well i rented both.. and i would have to say....before playing them that NBA 2k3 would take the boot no problem.  Based off of last years games.  Although i am a fan of highflying fast paced action.  It felt that in Live... a lot of the players all felt different to play with.  And to top that all off..it was great to see some of the crossovers and such.

End result.. i bought live.

I own NBA 2K3 and I think it is the best basketball game ever made. I tried out Live this year and it was nothing compared to this. On a side note, yes they both have online play.

My two cents.
