I got this game yesterday, and It is awesome.  I love it.  If you like a fast paced game with A nice level of difficulty, Get Shinobi.

My skepticism about this game is really started to fade. Alsmot all the professional reviews said it was mediocre, but every informal review I\'ve read said it rocks.

Welcome to last week.
We\'re done talkin about such an old game.
:D

It\'s a good game - but alittle to difficult...some stages do need floors , Sega.

Thank you.

SHinobi is great! IMO it will be the perfect game to snatch as a greatest hit title. As it is there are other new games like Ratchet and Clank that can give u more bang for ur buck. Still Shinobi is a must have Ps2 title and the whole ninja vibe the game has is unparralled. After extended playing u will start to wonder how cool would it be if you could do some wall runs yourself. :D

Difficulty is just right if you ask me. In games like GTA and in stealth games u have to replay missions a lot until u get them right and it\'s the same way here. It looks pretty simple but it\'s really not and in order to finish some stages u must find hidden healing items to keep u alive or find a strict battle pattern (unlike  Kingdom Hearts where u just mashed the buttons most of the time) just like in the good old school games.

The cool thing about the game that many reviewers didnt get it\'s that this game is the most focused 3d game to come along in quite awhile. This days developers are cramming all sorts of gaming genres in just one game and sometimes all those extras they add to the game detract from the original formula they had and they end up ruining the game. With shinobi u get one the most focused titles i\'ve seen in awhile. U KIll and then u KILL again and u keep on killing :D No stealth stages, no key hunting, no freaking puzzle solving, just KILL whatever freaking moves!  It\'s so rare to see this kind of game so well done these days that i dare to call it groundbreaking. Long live Contra and SHinobi :)

The original Shinobis required a lot of skill.I guess Sega wanted to keep this skill.Hence the difficulty.Although I havent playied the new one.
