My B-Day gifts...
« on: January 16, 2003, 06:21:02 PM »
Hey guys, I\'d like to share with you some of the gifts I got today for my Birthday.  I think they are really cool.

Phantasy Star Online Ep 1 & II:  Although I\'m not to happy about the monthly rates, I hear online is truly the only way to enjoy this game to its fullest.  Unless I find the offline side of the game at least decent, then I will trade it in for a different game because I won\'t spend a dime on this if it won\'t keep me entertained for months. Wonderful gift though.

Office Space DVD:  Here\'s where I get to relax and enjoy some funnies...  some great lines were spoken in this film, and it goes in my collection of greatest comedies of all time.

PS2 Wireless Controller by Logitech:  After falling in love with my "no wires, no hassle" Wavebird, I knew I needed a wireless PS2 Controller.  While large in size, compareable to X-Box controller, wider than long still though, this controller is hassle free and will keep me from untangling stupid cords every week.

Sim City 4:  The Best... The Ultimate... if there was ever a game genere to had to stick next to my name it would be god games. RPGs come in a close second, but let me tell you this, Sim City 4 is a MASSIVE game.  Its much more difficult than its predecessor, and much more detailed.  Like in any game there is a few bugs to work out, but none the less a great game.

All of my gifts were great and I can\'t thank my family enough, but if any of you have opinions on some of the stuff I got I\'d like to hear it, I need some feedback.

Hurricane.. if you\'re cashing in your first free month anyhow just to try the online side of the game and see if it\'s something worth keeping.. then lets get a game goin sometime.

BTW... got a modem for your B-day by any chance? Gonna be kinda hard getting online without one of those lil elusive lil bastards...
