I heard from a mag. that TNN, a member of MTV networks, has announced that it will produce and air the Video Game Awards in 2003.  Details including location, participants, and date have yet to be determined, but the two-hour special, scheduled for the fouth quarter, will feature such awards as Best All-Around Badass, Best Kick-Ass Weapon, and Most Addictive. Sounds sweet to me.

hehe... those award categories sound corny.  but im glad to see games become more accepted and lose the "thats what 11 year olds do during summer break" image

I can see Final Fantasy winning a lot of awards...  American Developers are doomed if this is true, but I\'d love to see it none the less.
