Are there any reports of it being defected or something. It was working fine until recently. There are no scratches and it\'s the only blue disk that doesn\'t work.

There is probably a lot of dust in yer ps2.  I have the same problem.  only the blue bottomed discs do not work.

yer options are to get a laser cleaner. Or  Open it up and clean it out... or send it to sony for cleaning... along with over 100 dollars.

Nah, I cleaned the insides of my PS2 already and used a lens cleaner. (I made a topic about it 2 weeks ago)

All the other blue disc games work.

My copy of The Sims works perfectly.  No problem at all. (My other blue disks do not give any hassles either.)
A word of advice:

In the working world there is only two ships that sink: 1.) a Battle ship, and 2.) Partnership

There are some defects with the ps2 version. It is incompatible with some versions of the ps2. We had to refund some copies at work due to this problem.

I work for a video store and all the discs at one point in time have come back saying there was something wrong, that it wouldn\'t load etc. And the one I brought home had a problem till my brother cleaned it.
