Best GBA games

I\'m getting a GBA in a trade and need to get some games.  I\'ve read the reviews, but you can\'t always trust them, so I need some of your opinions on what are the best GBA games.

Have you played/owned the SNES? If not, there are a few must-have ports you\'d need to check out.

Otherwise, I can suggest a few: Metroid Fusion, Advance Wars, Tactics Ogre, both Castlevanias.. Mega Man Zero.. Wario Land 4.. Golden Sun.. Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire.. etc etc etc. There\'s a lot of great games out..

Dpzens/hundreds more if you get into the GB/GBC games; remember that GBA = backward compatible!

So it\'s hard to suggest them.. :D

From personal experience, the Castlevanias, Advance Wars, F-Zero: Maximum Velocity, Golden Sun, and Mario Kart are good choices.

If you fancy a puzzle game, give Sega\'s Chu Chu Rocket a try.

I haven\'t played Metroid Fusion.

I did try Sonic Advance and never really got into it.  I\'ve read the upcoming sequel should be better.  We\'ll see.

I\'m getting Golden Sun and Firepro wrestling in one trade, and am eyeing Tactics Ogre, Breath of Fire I & II, Lunar legend, and a few others.

golden sun is awful
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

Jumpman: I\'d tend to agree that the dialogue and pacing was bad, but I had fun with it for 30 hours.

Legend of Zelda a Link to the Past
Mariop Kart Super Circuit
Metroid Fusion
Yoshi\'s Island (Super Mario Advance 3)
Super Mario World (Super Mario Advance 2)
Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance
Castlevania Circle of the Moon
Castlevania Aria of Sorrow (comes out in May)
Sonic Advance
Sonic Advance 2
Klonoa Empire of Dreams
Rayman 3
Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper
Megaman and Bass
Megaman Zero
Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland
Super Puzzle Fighter (April)
Megaman Battle Network
Megaman Battle Network 2
Super Ghouls and Ghosts
Tactics Ogre
Space Invaders (toysRUs)

That\'s enough for now.  Golden Sun 2 is coming out soon so if that\'s your thing, might as well play through 1 as well.

Theomen: SMA3 = awesome choice.

It\'s the best actual port out of the 3 Mario Advance games, and arguably the best of the 3 period.

Y\'ever play SMW2:YI on SNES? If not, you\'re in for a treat. The game is widely considered to be among the best side-scrolling adventure games ever. I can\'t say I disagree with that billing..
