Question about saving games

I just bought Tiger Woods 2003 along with the 8 MB memory card.  As I go along in the game, I obviously want to save my progress as I get better.  I have been saving every time the game asks me, but after I shut off the game and return the next day, the player I have created does not have any saved information.

In effect, it\'s as if I have never played and never saved any information or progress.  Am I not doing doing something right?  Do I have a defective memory card?  The system recognizes the card every time.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Well first of all this is the PC forum, so you should have posted this in the main forum, make sure you wait untill it says "save completed" or something like that before you turn your PS2 off. If you are doing that then i don\'t really know what the problem is. Have you tried manually loading?
