I can\'t imagine limp bizkit having a good performence, when they played at wrestlemania, it was the worst thing i\'ve ever seen.

And yeah, MTV does suck.
It was a darkness all my own, a song played on the radio, It went straight to my heart - I carried it with me - until the darkness was gone.

after that was a slow decline in my opinion.

Agreed... but dont forget Kill em all...  I wouldnt even consider the albums after their first four as being Metal... more like Hard rock... i still enjoy them but not nearly as much as Their first four albums.

But have no  fear, their new album is a return to their roots as well as a step forward.  Its fast, agressive but melodic at the same time.

If you want to listen to the sample of the new song from mtv icon go to http://www.allmetallica.com and download the first FRANTIC... its the best quality of the three.

What makes you think it\'s about money?

One thing: NAPSTER

I watched it - Limp Bizkit, was decent. KoRn, was decent. Snoop Dog, Sum41, Staind, Avril Lavigne and that other dude basically sucked. Especially Snoop Dogg.

And Avril does write her (shitty) music.

Nope, its all written by somebody else. Buy the CD- check it out. Look on the friggin webpage. She doesnt even play any of her own instruments on the CD.

ugh... you think metallica picked the bands?... its mtv for christ sake. Metallica doesnt give a shit about pleasing their fans and i love them for it. They play music for themselves, they have always said this.

Never said they picked the bands. It was just a few lousy pics. Especially Snot Dogg, and Avril Lavigne. They dont even fit into the metal genre. Avril Lavigne is supposivly \'punk alternative\'

well its still a bass guitar you know?

Yes I know its a guitar, I dont seem to recall me taking it out of hand. But you refer to them as Bassists. Not Bass Guitarists- usually.

Overall it was a decent watch. Not really something I was extremely enjoyed or was looking forward too. I enjoyed it though.

And um...might we be forgetting the unbelievable Black Album.  This CD is just a great example of the versitility of Metallica>

How did everyone like the new song they played?  Its off St. Anger and I thought it was great, it was a different kind of Metallica (perhaps sober) but a great song nonetheless.

yes, the black album does show the versitility of the band... but i did not like that album very much.  It had a lot of catchy tunes but they got boring pretty quick.  I like every single song off of their first four albums and that is no exaggeration.  I dont have the same feelings towards the black album.

Come on, wouldn\'t you be pissed if people were stealing your music? I know I would be. So if they\'re making money, then thats what they\'re all about?

The proper term is bass guitarist, bassist is just shorter. :p

I thought it was great, nobody was really too horrible, except perhaps ol\' Snoop.

Really looking forward to the new album. Looks to own.

If you look around - they say they are making music for the fans. They all say that- but just trying to **** the music industry over and get as much cash as they want. Dude- good idea. But some people know this. I\'m for one. They get enough money from people that buy their CD\'s, Tours, Concert Tickets, and merch.

Buzz... wrong!

They have stated over and over that they make music for themselves.  They are happy when fans enjoy that music.

most people say that metallica sold out when they made the Black album, but Metallica loves the Black album and they are proud of it and thats all that matters to them.

I never said they were sell-outs.

And Metallica- just admit it. Like every other band out their is trying to pull in as much cash as they want. Shit- isnt that what everyone is doing? Lawyers, Retail Salesman, Chefs, Librarians even; are just trying to get some money in their pocket.

 Dont get me wrong. Metallica ****ing rocks. And I completely love them. But its all the same when it comes to money.
