Jak and Daxter, SOCOM, Ratchet and Clank, and other games were million sellers in the USA. Now, a new franchise, Rise to Honor starring Jet Li. He is helping with the mocap on the game and they have implemented a 360-degree fighting engine. Let\'s take a quick look at that.
-- Rise to Honor video playing --
Looks pretty fluid. It\'s made to play like a Hong Kong action movie. It looks like The Bouncer, only a lot better. It looks like it\'s from a Jet Li movie, and the animation is very smooth. You can attack people from any angle, multiple people at once. The graphics look okay, but the animation is fantastic.
Gran Turismo is the most successful franchise in our console\'s history. GT3 sold over 11 million units worldwide.
-- Gran Turismo history video --
They\'re showing a video of previous GT games. Nothing on GT4 yet, but they\'re showing all the older ones right now.
Now the president of Polyphony has come out to introduce Gran Turismo 4.
He is explaining how GT4 is being made with the same care as other GT games in the series. They\'re about to show video of real world locations they went to for the making of Gran Turismo 4.
-- GT4 Location Video Playing --
They\'re showing Paris and other cities. They\'re showing real world photos. Now they\'re showing a bit of in-game.
Now they\'re showing something. I can\'t really tell if it\'s CG or a realtime. If this is realtime, it looks flawless. It looks flawless, you can\'t tell what\'s real and what\'s game. This looks photo-realistic.
Online gameplay is confirmed for GT4. Also, revamped engines, AI, they\'re doing a major upgrade to the engine. Driving will be improved.
AI will feel more human, they are upgrading the AI for the first time in the series.
There will be more cars in this game than in any other GT game before it. The idea is to reimagine the history of cars.
They will also have more real-world circuits from around the world. They don\'t have details on online play, but you will be able to enjoy GT4 online. GT4 will be playable at E3.

This looks real. It looks photorealistic. This is amazing, I can\'t tell if it\'s real or not. I\'m seeing regular courses, off road courses, GT4 "The Real Racing Simulation."
Now it\'s time for hardware...
They have announced a PS2 bundle with the network adapter. It is called the PS2 Online Pack. It will be available to all new consumers starting from June, and they will have out-of-the-box online play.
New features will include progressive scan for DVDs, DVD-R playback, built-in remote sensor, and more. The price for this is $199.
Now, they are showing off the digital camera. It\'s called the EyeToy. The camera is USB, looks like a Webcam, but it has the PS2 look to it. It fits in the pam of your hand, and all you have to do is focus manually. It also utilizes motion capture technology and you can see yourself on the screen. This is developed by Sony. It will interact with gameplay, your movements will be translated into gameplay.
They\'re showing it now. This is cool. There\'s a button on the screen, and you can press it with your hand. Now they\'re showing off Kung Fu, and it\'s showing the guy on screen with everything around him. The enemies are jumping at him, but he\'s knocking them all down with his fists. It also shows you where to stand.
Now they\'re showing Wishy Washy, a window washing game. This looks very Japanese. You\'re behind a dirty window, you have to clean the dirty window, and you just use your hands to clean the window. This really looks very Japanese. Now they\'re showing two people playing. It seems up to 4 people can play on one cam. It\'s USB, $39.99 and will ship with 12 games in October.
They\'re discussing video conferencing, virtual navigation, virtual pen applications, things of the like with this. Out of the box you can tape video messages up to a minute on your memory card. Very minor lag with this camera.
