Can I install XP here?
« on: May 22, 2003, 06:12:55 AM »
Can I install XP in a Pentium II 350mhz, 320 RAM, Geforce2 MX400, 60GB HDD?

If you say yeah, i\'ll probably install it in my old comp... but not pretty sure.

I ran XP on my old trusty PIII-450 with 128MB of ram.  It ran but not blazingly fast, it was bearable though....

mmm... good idea. But i think drivers will be a problem. I have them in those kinda of master cds that arrived with the pc, and it\'s impossible to extract them without using those recovery cds. I hope XP recognises all my hardware.

Ok, well, I bought a Packard Bell but the pieces are from different manufacturers, I mean the motherboard, soundcard, graphic card (I changed it for a geforce2) etc... I had a problem in my laptop with a driver and it was awesome the way in which XP solved the problem: he warned me, contacted with the web and showed me a direct link to download the proper driver to the specified OS: that\'s the heaven dudes. So I think that if i have any problem, I can update later the drivers, can\'t I?
