yeah i was thinking the same...

from what i can see .. the i link port is moved to the back & a IR sensor is in between the eject and power button.

Am i right in saying its got a HDD build it ?????

Wait just a @#* min. here So whan this thing comes out in the US. if we want a HD we are going to have to buy a new one. I havent heard anything of a HD for the PS2 in a good while.

You won\'t have to buy a new model to use the HD -- the current model can perform that function once you buy the HD. However, those looking for a reason to buy an Xbox instead of a Playstation 2 because of its features are about to lose some ground.

I believe I saw somewhere that it would sell for $200 USD before taxes and Microsoft dropped their X-box price to $179 I belive...... but if you had to pay for the remote and the BBA alone for the PS2 it would be around $250 to $275 but with the new model it is still cheaper to buy a PS2 over an X-box due to they still have to buy a remote for DVD and pay for Xbox live...

**** you sony for taking out the i-link port. GT3 is one of the games I make heavy use of the port - also TS2. Why in ****s name do they take out something that is used by so many people?

Yeah, you know that iLink cable is used by ohhhh so many people. Sorta liked the link cable they had for the original PSONE..I mean, it\'s extremely practical to have two PS2\'s, Two TV\'s and TWO GAMES....What in the world was they thinkin\' to get rid of that great feature?!?!

I think it sucks that they took the I-link out. My brother and I were looking forward to playing GT4 I-linked. (I currently don\'t have a PS2 and was planning on getting this new model around the time GT4 came out). It will still possible to connect two PS2s together with a LAN cable if both PS2s have the network adapter, right?
