And a movie is an even worse idea.  I want to be able to run around the world of FF7, post apocalype and just explore, and talk to people!

They\'re already bringing back Sephiroth (somehow), so it looks to be going the way of Alien Resurrection.

But can they perfect a game that is already perfect?Or do you believe they can make a sequel as good as the first? It would have been more risky if they made it a game.More chances to disappoint.Atleast thats what I think.Unless they spent 2-3 years developing it and put the effort they put for FF7.Something I dont think they would do.

if it\'s a sequel to ff VII they\'d better spend a hell of a lot of time perfecting it- movie or videogame

damn... only a movie...

Arghhh, if they\'re gonna make a connection to FF VII  they gotta do it right.  This aint the way to go, I\'m kind of dissapointed in square, but we\'ll see how things work out.

I\'m sure they are making this movie just to see if there is enough support left for FF7 to make  a sequel game

well rumor has it and all be it rumor

that when asked about if they were making a sequel - sqaure/enix said it was something they have considered a lot and are taking consideration into how to execute it since it wouldnt be as straightfoward and easy as FFX-2 was to make
