I think it\'s bad as well. I\'m just playing the middle man here. "Dolphin Free Tuna" is the tuna cans I buy. Hell, I even say "Oops! Sorry!" when I run over a poor squirrel (but I sure as hell ain\'t gonna swerve away from one and kill myself).

Well....there is hope. More and more Japanese are finding that dolphin as food to be disgusting. Only the oldies are eating them. Like Videoholic.

I used 2 b vegetarian for 2 years. As good as my intentions were I couldn\'t keep it up any more. From the day we are born and fed, most of us were given meat to eat. There\'s nothing wrong with that in itself imo. But the problem is balance. I read that these dolphin harvests are for mass produced dolphin meat market, in cans. That\'s the problem ; it\'s not about food anymore but mass market profits. Remember the huge cattle diseases from not too long ago here in Europe ? A direct result of an unhealthy mass production bio industry.

I think the problem here is just having respect for something so intellegent. If they stopped doing lab treatments on apes why should they keep killing dolphins? It\'s not like people will starve...

^ No, but as long as there\'s debate, other ppl\'s consciense can be called upon. I mean, if you\'d see someone murdered in front of you, you ain\'t saying nothing to nobody ? :o  A dialogue, vocal action about  evildoing is the right thing to do, even if you can\'t directly stop it from happening. Better than doing nothing, caring only about your damn self.

This dolphin/whales thing calls for UN to speak up about it.
