A Networking Question ???

I have a Linksys wireless router connected to the internet.  I want to share the connection with another wired network.  Can I use one access point and a hub to create the other wired network?

I guess my two concerns are:

1 - Will the access point work with just the wireless router, or does it need another access point.

2 - Will the access point be able to have multiple IP\'s running on it?




I thought that I could just buy another router and use it, but I was wrong.
