If so what the heck is the white spot at the top of this picture of mars? If it is ice doesn\'t that mean there is also water? Please explain this to me. If its not ice, what the hell is it.



BTW, This was taken with the hubble telescope.

Actually it\'s frozen CO2.  Part of the CO2 evaporates in the spring and goes back into the atomosphere.  It\'s in the article.
