Or is the blur look from the capture of the pic? Could some explain?

Hmmm.... MGS2 uses it in cutscenes. Probably processor heavy stuff, but possible on PS2 in realtime. Killzone might have it ingame restricted to certain \'parts\' :laughing:  . Seriously ; it might work like \'render tags\' which are used in 3D animation/ modeling software ; so the effect is restricted to only certain objects or surfaces so it doesn\'t get all too heavy.

Imo, they should be carefull with it, not to turn it into a blur over abundance like bullet time fx in games these days. :o

This blurr effect seems different than previous.Instead of doubling or leaving traces of previous frames it seems to strech certain parts of the picture according to the animation\'s speed.It certainly looks more realistic, abd technically a lot more better than the blurring effects we have seen in previous games.
I mean the blurr effects we have seen so far are feasable on PSX.Nothing technically impressive (MGS, FF8 had it a lot).The blurr effect is technically the same in MGS2 as in MGS1
