HD is being screwy
« on: January 15, 2004, 02:48:04 PM »
I just installed my Seagate 160GB drive yesterday.  I partitioned it 4 ways and loaded all my files off my c: drive onto it.  it was working.  now when i go to my computer it doesn\'t even see the drive.  if i go to disk managment it sees the drive but looks like it did when i first formatted it(i.e. 160GB free).  is there any way i can recover my data from this?

seems strange, try removing then putting your ide ribbons back in. Or put in your old hd, and make the 160gb a slave drive. Copy the stuff back to it and redo everything.
