Ryu is correct. Spudz is a dumbass that needs banned for posting a link to a virus in the end of the internet thread. The link first appeared accidently in political. It was corrected there. It has not been a month. Dude could not even wait a month to post that dumbass url again. Jesus what a little twirp if he did it on purpose.

Cowboy BeBop: The movie (AKA knocking on heavens door i believe)
Blue Seed series was ok but i dont think you would be into it.
All of the above mentioned are great. Metropolis was not as great as i hoped though. Didnt feel as deep as i thought it would have.
The Iria volumes are ok.
Masamune Shirow\'s Tank Police series is decent. (I\'d say apple seed but that may be a little too old school for somebody that has just been getting into Anime).

I cant think of truely great Animes but ones that i at least ejoyed were:

The Macross Plus vol\'s
Robotech
Initial D series
Wings of Homanese(sp")
Gunsmith Cats vol\'s
Patlabor 1&2
Ghost In The Shell (series)

Eh... Just a short list that might intrest you. *shrugs*

Eva is horrible.  Never in a series has there been characters I actually genuinely hate who are supposedly the "good" guys.  If I have to listen to the main character, Shinji, whine about his role one more time, I\'m going to stab him in the face with a lightsabre.  Seriously.

As for good anime shows, refraining from the obvious Studio Ghibli love in this thread, Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex is good along with Full Metal Alchemist, Chrno Crusade (yes, it\'s spelled that way), Shingetsutan Tsukihime, and probably Rurouni Kenshin are but a few (of course leaving out season 3, which just happens to be total garbage).  One series I have not watched at length, but have heard nothing but great things about is Naruto.  make note though, as for good anime shows, these are not series released yet in the US and for the most part, none of them are even licensed.  Remember kids, Bittorrent is your friend.  If you don\'t know what it is, google it.

Noir- very nice i enjoyed it a lot back when it first came out

Escaflowne - old but good

Ninja Scroll Series - good but not as good as the movies

Inu Yasha - long series not your typical 26 episodes

Cowboy Bebop

Outlaw Star - not great but watchable indeed

R. Kenshin - cant remeber first part for the life of me but its pretty good of what ive seen so far

Vampire Hunter D:Bloodlust

sooo many more i just gotta think of em


and like RYU said Bittorrent is a great friend indeed - so is

enjoy it but be smart about what you are dling

Link edited.  I know what it is, I use it as well and I\'m sure many who use bittorrent do also, but it contains a great deal of pirated software.  Can\'t have that here. -Ryu
