As a general practice, I stay away from all Civic / Integra / DSM / Neon / Sentra / etc forums.  I can only take so many threads posted by 17 year olds asking what kind of 19" wheels they should buy, or how they got their license suspended for reckless driving, or how to install "lambo doors" on their ride.  :rolleyes:

The quality of writing, posting, discussion, and even grammar and spelling is so much better on forums dedicated to cars that are even slightly more expensive.  That\'s the plain truth, and it\'s blatantly obvious after just a little observation.  I greatly appreciate all the cars these forums are dedicated to (except where they are disasterously modded), but I just don\'t fit in with all the Fast and Furious kidlets out there.

You\'re right, we\'re really talking about two different species of forum posters (with some overlap).  

First, there\'s the teen age know-it-all F&F punk on the Civic / Integra / DSM / 240SX forums

Second we have the general ASSHOLE which some car models seem to attract like stink on shit.  I don\'t know what it is about Vipers, but as expensive as they are, they generally seem to be purchased by the biggest assholes in the world.  The same can be said, maybe to a lesser degree, about the DTM, C4 / C5, and Z28 forums.

Porsches forums, which are dedicated to cars that are generally as expensive as Vipers or even more so, don\'t seem to have any more than the ordinary allotment of assholes.

It\'s hard to figure.  :)

I don\'t post on car forums but I can see that there are a lot of ignorant people that think they know what they are talking about (especially among the teenage population). Where I live, kids "pimp out" Civics and stuff like that. It just makes me want to puke. They think they\'re all badass and stuff. They are the kinds of people that post on these car boards.
