Put a Price on Hawky\'s Collection
« on: March 16, 2004, 02:58:43 AM »
On the move again, I made an inventory of some of the stuff I\'ve collected during all the past years and started wondering how much I could actually rake in by selling my entertainment collection. If you were faced with the possibility of getting all the items below in one package (big box) and asked to make an offer, what would it be? And I\'m not listing my full CD collection, but only the most interesting bits.

\'tis all just a lot of theorizing if I\'m selling all this. I\'m rather interested in seeing how people value this heap of crap I own. Still I feel it\'s finally time to let go of some items...

All items are pretty much in perfect condition, unless otherwise specified.

I\'d say add up what you paid for the stuff.

Then move the decimal point 3 places to the left.

I say
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

So, for example, if I paid 8$ for the snes, so you\'d buy it for 0,8 cents, 10 cents for a dreamcast? Sounds fair, though we\'ll have to make sure the transaction is absotively secure, ought to watch it when so much money is involved.

Harsh :p

Alright..  How about move it two places to the left and then divide by two.

go check out ebay, and look for comparible systems being sold individually... certain items, like skies of arcadia are selling for more now than ever before.

If you sold it all as a huge package, you would get less than if you bundled it into 100-200 dollar lots.

Keep them, the value will most likely go up as the machines/games become more rare.
