1.  Could someone please delete the spam from this thread?

2.  What\'s the status of our Automotive forum?  Just wondering where we stand.  Is it "LIC said no, so it\'s not going to happen?"  If so, I think we should broaden the decision making authority a little.

Any other mods or interested parties please join in.  I\'m just wondering what the next steps are for us to proceed with this.  It would be convenient to discuss it in this thread, but I can PM you if you wish.

Thanks.

Coredweller gets off on my spam.

(it\'s a good idea for a more populated forum, but we\'re too small to even run 5 different forums successfully. just keep it in OT...bitch)
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

I don\'t see how this could negatively affect you.  It\'s just like everyone else who is opposed to it.  You won\'t post there, you won\'t read it, so you\'re against it.  That\'s a bullshit attitude if you ask me.  This doesn\'t affect you, so stay out of it. ... bitch spammer

Reset form eliminates what you wrote apparently. :/

1. Bitch comment directed at omen who I figured wouldn\'t go all PMS about it.

2. My reasoning for not supporting an auto forum was clearly different than any others who have posted in this thread. ie too small of a forum population.

3. I\'m shocked that a respectable member like yourself would resort to name calling like bitch spammer...novice.

Pardon me for not understanding who you were calling a bitch, when you didn\'t make it clear.

I just don\'t understand why you go out of your way to post against something that won\'t affect you negatively.  You don\'t want to participate in an automotive forum?  Fine you don\'t have to.  That doesn\'t mean you should oppose it when others would appreciate it.

Whats wrong with doing a trial period, to see if it would work?  I don\'t know why everyone has to come out to shoot this down before it\'s even given a chance.  Who\'s it going to hurt?

Well, unless I\'m mistaken, then this is the suggestions forum where everyone offers their feedback on a suggestion made? I\'m generally against all relatively inactive forums. I would like a music forum, but with the forum size too low I know that\'s just a bad idea. If there was so negative feedback then who could stop all the terribly bad suggestions from coming to be?

I\'m not opposing the idea for a trial period for one, but who\'s it going to hurt to post auto news in Off-Topic?

I have posted reasons why an Automotive forum would have positive benefits for those who use it.  My reasons are posted higher up in this thread.  Since you don\'t seem to care about automotive threads, I\'m willing to bet that you don\'t want to witness the onslaught of new threads that would be crowding Off Topic, if I started posting them there.  I don\'t post them now because I know many people in Off Topic don\'t care about this and would just spam my threads.

You make reference to this being a "bad idea" but you don\'t say WHY.  I don\'t understand what harm this could do to the entire forum, or Off Topic in particular.  Most of the new threads that are going to reside in the Automotive Forum are NOT being posted now, and the few that are posted quickly get buried under all the other Gman threads that everyone spams in.    You suggest it will be a "relatively inactive forum" but how do you know?  It\'s never been tried, so you have no idea.

I welcome a discusson on the pros and cons of this idea, but you shouldn\'t just vaguely that it\'s a bad idea or a terribly bad suggestion, without supporting your argument.

Supporting your arguments are for novices man.

Anyways..."a "relatively inactive forum" but how do you know? It\'s never been tried, so you have no idea." Even off-topic borders on relatively inactive...unless by some freak of chance then the auto forum would be unactive aswell. Small interest=small results.

Bad idea=with every new forum created off-topic takes another blow to it\'s heart. I used to like off-topic, gman definitely needs to be shot in the face, but with more forums to post off-topic material in essence it\'s all very distracting and not needed. If these auto motive threads are so wanted then their momentum should carry on in off-topic despite spammers. Maybe they\'re not being posted because no one wants them posted?

If you\'re so afraid of someone spamming you\'re thread just say "This thread is only for those who are not a wretched waste of DNA. " ...or say keep the replies serious. Maybe posting serious threads in OT will encourage others to follow suit? Honestly the topics in ot right now are so gd retarded what else is there to do besides make a stupid little comment hoping someone else finds it funny.

You learn fast, young grasshopper.

...I only wish I had such power, to say "no" and make things final......Instead, they hold me back, they tease me with limited powers. Yes, they don\'t understand what I could do...what I could..become..
