Big favor: for those who read Lovecraft
« on: April 19, 2004, 12:47:45 PM »
The book store is 15 minutes away and i doubt the library will have the book im looking for.

The only book i know of (i know he has a bunch of books); The Best of H. P. Lovecraft: Bloodcurdling Tales of Horror and the Macabre

I need to know the company that made the book (should say \'something something Inc.); the pages "In The Vault" are in from start to finish (short story);  the year the book was made.; and the author if someone besides Lovecraft wrote it since its a "best of" kind of think; and also the state that it was written in.

This seems like a lot of information but all of it should be on the first couple pages, and also the index on the pages "In The Vault" are on.

Im doing a project and i found the story on a website because i dont have the book, but i need a bibliography and i just need that info to write one out. Thanks

Lovecraft authored every story in that book.  You can get everything you need for your citation from the Internet, such as Amazon.com, EXCEPT the page numbers.

I can supply that later after I look at my copy.

Sorry buddy, I looked but I couldn\'t find that book.  I found a bunch of other Lovecraft books in my collection, but not that one.  Maybe you should buy a copy.  You could certainly find it at a used book store if it\'s no longer in print.  That is the most widely published of his books.

alright. thanks anyway. I found out i have to do a report on the author, and due some time in may is the report on the story...so i read the short story, paying attention to everything for nothing, lol. Tired of doing sh*t like that.

Anyway, im going to the library tomorrow for some background info on lovecraft, so i might pick up the best of book at the store near it since \'in the vault\' was a pretty good story, so i might read it for the hell of it
