Nah, my dvd player isn\'t cheap. It could be user error, but no cheap ass dvd player there. Its just the 2002 dvd player I bought that i told you guys it broke recently last month and it doesn\'t seem to be compatible with some dvd discs that i burns. I guess its have to do with encryption restriction or something. Other dvd player are less restricited on how you burn a dvd disc and how you finalized it like the sony stand a lone dvd player, but my PS2 and panasonic doesn\'t seem to recognize them.
The newer panasonic 2003 and 2004 models are less restricted and seem to read better too. the 2003 can read both -R/+R and possible -/+RW too with DVD-RAM.
But the weird thing is the 2004 model can only read -R only....but i guess you can trick it to be compatible.
Also I bought no name DVD burners brand...my uncle made us buy Emprex, it burn nicely, it play on S360 but not on rp-62 and ps2 without hickups.
Then second dvd burner, a better known brand called TDK, suck...it not recognizeable on any dvd player.
Then 3rd dvd burner, I/O Magic isn\'t compatible with any dvd player. So I give up.
My guess it have to do with the software (Easy CD Creator 6 sucks),
and the dvd burners
and the media (i bought Memorex DVD-Rs but it said to burn the ISO image on the disc last or something for it to be playable)...
Again, Like I said I will wait till DVD burner improve (the speed and stuff) before I buy one.
Forget about dvd burners for now as I am talking about CD-R.
