GT4 Photo mode pictures

There is a mode in GT4 called photo mode.

In it you can take any car and set it on the tracks and add blur and whatever.

At first I thought the idea was incredibly corny and stupid and a waste.  I couldnt believe GT4 reps said gamers would spend a year with photo mode alone.

Then I saw these pictures (56k warning)

Then I changed my mind

Here is a sample pic for 56kers

I am still very skeptical of that statement.

No way, this mode is going to rock. Its like your an auto photog, given the best digital SLR available and told to go all out. There are just so many things you can tweak in this mode its crazy, plus, you can save the pics and get them printed.

I am just hopeing that they have an even higher res render output available, as the 1280x860 isn\'t that big for proper printing.

digital SLR at 640x480, then print them to a bubble jet printer woohooooooo :sconf:

Sorry to sound so pms\'y but I\'m the anti-hype machine.  Looks like a cool mode, much better than winning gold medals anyway.  ;)

Actually, it renders them out to 1280x860 max, you can choose what size and what you want to do with them.

This is GT. Its going to rock.

Haven\'t been keeping up, how do u get them from memory card to PC?  Does GT4 come with a device to do this or you have to pay extra?

I dont think its possible without an additional hardware device.

Another way to transfer the pictures could be via E-mail or something.. GT4 is online so it should not be that hard.

Yea just get a another usb cable to connect the two.. But how technical is the program gonna be? It could be as simple as paint or as complex as Photoshop. If it\'s as good as you guys are saying it is, I\'m sure no average person is going to want to spend extra time to learn how to edit photos on the PS2. I think they could of chosen a much better addition to the game.

Really?! Man, photo mode should be the only mode. Screw racing  .

Im just messing with you.

I think this mode is going to take a lot of my time considering. I mean its just a really intelligent move. I mean i cant think of the last time somebody thought of something that was just so simple yet so smart.

I really do think that this is a great addition to GT4

I just wanted to tell you that this game will be the worst game in video gaming history. I heard Coleco\'s "Pong" had better gameplay than this pile of dung heap. Heck, Atari\'s Night Driver beats this hands down.
