Anyone trying to play this on their widescreen TV will be disappointed. There seems to be no way to get true 16:9 support from this damn game.

Funny thing is Xbox should have it. :o I hope iD/AV release a patch within a week to enable it.

The game sounds good but it won\'t run on my computer. I can put in a new graphics card, have the disk space and can upgrade the RAM, but my machine is 5 years old (Win 98SE), Pentium 3 Processor (550 MHz) and my mom won\'t buy a new machine, despite the myriad of problems it suffers. There is also a Rome game that I want but I know my computer won\'t be able to play it. I think I\'ll buy it anyway and just hold onto it until I get my laptop.

My friend told me that Raedon is coming out with a vid card that will include a copy of Half-Life 2. Is this true? I think he said it was a 9800 something. And didnt Nvidia come out with some FX\'s that crush it?

the 9800 series has been out and the newest top of the line pentium is the x800xt platinum edition. you wont notice a huge difference between a top of the line nvidia or ati card really

You guys beat it yet? Ending is cool but they needed to expand on the story more, I\'m still very interested in the original martians.

I remember there were two points where you had to make a decision:

[sp]
1) Earlier in the game eithere extend the service bridge with lights on or go on the ground with lights off. I did the bridge, probably a minor choice.
2) Send out the message from the Comm room. If you don\'t do it Swann says something different.[/sp]

I made save points at each choice and will go back to see if it makes any sort of difference in the story.

Theres also

[sp]The dood that is stuck in this machine room, if you activate it the machine covers him and he gets fried. All that remains of him is his skeleton. If you let him go he gives u access to a room that has a minigun in the locker. Although I’m not sure if u still get access even if you kill him.[/sp]

Still very cool to watch though.
