if anyone can help....recently bought ff 7,8,9, to play on ps2 but cannot save...tryed 2 ps1 save cards but keep on getting told theres no data to be read...can anyone suggest anything???

I found that only the official sony ps1 cards will work with ps2.

I dont. I have something like an old "Performance" card that works fine with all ps2\'s. The problem that i generally encounter is that you have to put it in a certain amount but not all the way.

Before you start your game up, go to the browser thing and try putting it in and out and seeing if the card shows up on screen.

Works for me.
