Anyone know of a program to change the screen resolution of a video file to a smaller size, in my case - 240 x 320.

lol, next time i will check my own computer to c if i have software that can do it - i do, "Windows Movie maker", i think its also free from download.com.

Cant get it to exactly 240x320 but close enough.

Other suggestions would still be appreciated.

AVI - audio vide interleave...

nope, its different than MPEG...

there are many version of AVI...

from uncompressed video to lossless compression to lossy...

did you get the video straight off a digital camcorder such as MiniDV?  MiniDV uses lossless compression with a resolution of 720 x 480...

btw, why would you want to downconvert it to 320 x 240?  for internet purposes?  I think you can downconvert it...

answer my desperate question...:D

is your AVI is DV quality which came from a digital camcorder?

btw...

you can convert this AVI to other format usch as MPEG, but I prefer WMV if you can...and i think they give you this option on the resolution, frame rate, video bitrate, and audio quality such as how much you want to compress, and what its sampling rate is, mono or stereo...blah blah blah...

i use this program that let you do this, but i don\'t like this program that much...its call Videowave...

I believe Ulead Studio let you do this too...:nut:...
