Yes, good story, but the anti Bush hate mongers here won\'t even acknowledge it.  After all America is bad and good stories couldn\'t possibly come out of Iraq.

I am seriously about to become extremely pissed off if you keep saying that liberals hate america, and liberals think all america is bad.  You are living in a fantasyland if you belive that.  Is your ideology clouding your judgement so severly that you can\'t believe that your fellow citizens who may have alternate political views are in fact human beings too?

This story has nothing to do with Bush, thank god.  One navy commander (also a human being) took it upon himself to assist these people and solicit the assistance of a couple NGOs to help them.  It paid off, and I applaud him.  There\'s no reason to use this story as a platform for hurling an insult.

BTW, I\'d appreciate if you\'d reply in the "100,000 Iraqi Civilian Deaths?" thread.  We\'re supposed to jump up and cheer when one child is saved, but remain silent when 100,000 others are killed?  You\'ve had nothing to say about the 100,000 yet, except to criticize the source that reported the story.

Yeah ive been pretty kool with you for the most part of the history of psx2central but seriously giga - Shut up.

Of course some form of retaliation in some smarty way is expected but it seems that we cant go a day without a liberal/dem comment or bashing. Most of us can take it but recently its just been too much. I hope these extremists arent getting to you. Obviously we arent all freaks and nuts.

Giga winds down once the new pres is elected.  When election time rolls around though, you better watch out. ;)

I wish I had a violin...

Yes of course you want me to shut up - yet don\'t say a word about BS, Core, Mystiq and others who regularly conservative/repub bash to varying degrees.

I agree with THX, I am ready for the election to be over - then I can bash Kerry for every promise he made during the campaign in which he fails to keep.  ;)

I do honestly believe there are two seperate America\'s.  I don\'t know if any other conservatives will agree with me on here - but it seems we live in two seperate worlds with two entirely different ideas on how this country should be run and the direction it should proceed in.  One wants us to be proactive and put America first - the other wants us to be reactive and be a get approval from the UN and certain countries in Europe before we do anything.  You can\'t turn a channel on TV - especially in the past 2 months without seeing some liberal spouting off about how Bush is to blame for everything that has gone wrong in this country.  I think at the heart of it Gore and the left in this country are to blame.  If Kerry wins by a hair you won\'t see Republicans and conservatives out rioting and whining about how Kerry stole the election for 4 years.  We may not like it, but we won\'t question his legitimacy - his policies yes, but not the fact that he won the election.  On the flip side if Bush wins by a hair - the left will be out in full force claiming voter fraud/intimidation/disenfranchisement - further dividing this country.

Just last week I saw some people blaming Bush for the series of hurricanes that hit the US this year...  With freaks like this in the country who will say and do just about anything to elect Kerry - I worry.  What makes me worry even more is that Kerry panders to each and every one of them.

Now that I think about it. I bet it was Bush who caused those hurricanes in an attempt to wipe out the minority population in Florida so that way he doesn\'t have to worry about desifranchising them during the election! I should of known.

Bush DID steal the 2000 election. Re-counts are nothing. Like somebody else said, you can\'t count the votes that weren\'t allowed.

Well maybe he didn\'t. Maybe it was just coincidence that Bush\'s cousing, John Ellis, was Fox News senior election analyst that night of the election. And Fox was the first network to call it for Bush. Then we has the CEO of NBC, jack welch who was a well known Republican, sitting next to the director of elections and urging the guy to call it for Bush.

It\'s funny though because Jack reminded me of Giga when he said ""it\'s just pure crazy...The idea that I had anything to do with the election is-on its face, for people with the IQs over fifty-beyond belief"

Then we have the highest paid reporter Tim Russert flashing a Bush pin at Bush that night of the Al Smith Dinner. Tim Russert later on became the stepping stone for whenever the Bush adminstration needed some light. Such as the time when inspector Davin Kay exposed that there were no WMD in Feb. 2004 Bush was in a rare interview with Tim Russert. I say rare because by that time Bush had only given 12 press conferences while other presidents including his daddy had given over 50.

Russert could of cornered the guy but let him off easily and according to Wall Street Journal a conservative columnist even agreed that Bush had a lacking performance.

It\'s sad because Bush was portrayed to have won and Gore was merely trying to keep life in his campaign. It was never that way the dispute was whether Bush had won legimatelly and not that Bush had won and we were waiting for Gore to prove it wrong.
Don\'t try to confuse me with what you call  facts, my mind is already made up.

Stupidity at its finest.  Recounts are nothing?  Then why did Gore want the recounts to continue dipshit?

Fox was the first to call it for Bush?  See it is idiots like you that believe anything someone puts into a movie and think you are now "informed."    I posted this before - but obviously you forgot... I will put it in bold and italics this time so you can\'t miss it:

Moore thus creates the false impression that the networks withdrew their claim about Gore winning Florida when they heard that Fox said that Bush won Florida.

In fact, the networks which called Florida for Gore did so early in the evening—before polls had even closed in the Florida panhandle, which is part of the Central Time Zone. NBC called Florida for Gore at 7:49:40 p.m., Eastern Time. This was 10 minutes before polls closed in the Florida panhandle. Thirty seconds later, CBS called Florida for Gore. And at 7:52 p.m., Fox called Florida for Gore. Moore never lets the audience know that Fox was among the networks which made the error of calling Florida for Gore prematurely. Then at 8:02 p.m., ABC called Florida for Gore. Only ABC had waited until the Florida polls were closed.

Bush did win.  Gore did lose.  Get over it.  You are the PRIME example of why this country is so divided.  You are uninformed and frankly a ****ing idiot - a dangerous combination.  I can look at others in here who disagree with me and they assert they want what is best for this country (yes even you Core), but you... why do I even waste my time on you?  Since I have come this far in this post time to enlighten you on American politics concerning elections and what is best for the country:

Kennedy vs Nixon in 1960 and voter fraud:

Quote

The watershed for this type of activity, of course, occurred in 1960 and involved Joseph Kennedy Sr., working with members of Chicago organized crime to give the state’s electoral votes and the election to John F. Kennedy. Not wanting to foment a civil war, Richard Nixon decided against contesting the election, but went to his grave knowing that he was denied his mandate because of illegal activity. [/b]

As you can see Nixon knew instead of contesting the election which he had every right to do - he didn\'t for because the good of the country came first and foremost.  Gore apparently didn\'t and now we have a nicely divided nation thanks to him.  The election was called for Bush and Gore should have stepped aside for the good of the country - instead he dragged it out and the outcome was the same - he lost and he divided the country in the process.  So here we are.

They were NOTHING shit head. You counted the votes that were made not the ones that weren\'t allowed to be made wise ass.

It had nothing to do with the topic other than the fact that Bush was a POS president that needed his media friends to give him a boost. Hmm does anybody know who started Fox News?

Roger Ailes who was the Republican communications strategist to Nixon, Reagan and Bush Sr.!

Am I prime example with what is wrong with this country?! Shit, I didn\'t know that! I always thought it was the rich white people in power who don\'t give a shit about who they rule but who will pay them more for a decision.

Can you not read?  Fox News was not the first to call the election for Bush.  It is staring you right in the face, yet you refuse to believe it.  Who cares who the chairman of Fox News is?  They are number 1 for a reason.  I don\'t think you even read my post...

Watch your racist remarks -  you don\'t like them when they are used in refering to your race do you?  Also cut down on the profanity - you use it in practically every thread you post in.

Cut down profanity?!

You\'re the one that called me dipshit! Lol...neways

Yeah they\'re number one for a reason. Kissing the president\'s butt! These people compete in order to get new press releases or "news" before anybody else and by kissing the president\'s ass they are more liable to get it.

My racist remarks?

What racist remarks!?

I don\'t know about you but most of the member in congress are white, so is the vice-president, president, most of the members of the HOR and so on. That isn\'t a racist remark it\'s an observation.

well actually if you read the globe..y\'know the one with the infamous "batboy" and local space alien kickin\' it with the pres and kerry?..yea that newspaper..anyways..it stated that it was actually bin laden that caused those hurricanes...they stated he had a wmd..a hurricane creating device that he devised to cripple the economy of america :p  ...forgive me i get a kick out of reading those mags at the supermarket...

on a serious note tho..i don\'t know the full story behind the 2000 vote, but i thought it was real shady when they found boxes of unaccounted votes just stashed in a closet....i don\'t need to know the full story to know at least THAT part is pure bulls**t...
