hmm, i think that\'s a little overkill.
But i like flexibility so its okay to have that available but hidden on the option list for developers.
Because i can\'t see a reason to waste Video Ram size for a resolution of 2560x2048 which equal 5 million pixels since most hdtv are still in 1080i mode, as in 1080i interlaced, and i haven\'t seen a CRT hdtv with 1080p yet. I read somewhere where some plasma have 1080p hdtv. But it cost about $70,000.:eek:
And true 1920 x 1080p looks awesome already. Its not like you can tell a difference if it goes higher than 1080p.
It would be amazing to see some low resolution 2-d games on NES/SNES/Genesis/psx days being redone in High Def of 2 million pixels widescreen with true 60 frames per second.:nerd:
Imagine Castlevania Symphony of the Night being redone in that resolution...
