Anna Lindh\'s murderer receives his final sentence.

At 8:45 the the Supreme Court/Highest Court verdict for Mijailo Mijailovic became official, he is sentenced to life in prison.

The Supreme Court then changed the verdict from psychiatric care which had been settled by the court of appeal, which in turn had changed the verdict from life in prison settled by district court.

They have also set the damage payment to 100 000 SEK (14,843 USD) each for Anna Lindh’s children.

Mijailo Mijailovic himself wants to serve the full sentence in Serbia-Montenegro, currently the only nation where he has a citizenship (he cancelled his Swedish citizenship). I doubt his wishes will come true though. Why he wishes to serve in Serbia I cant understand (our prisons are like hotels compared to the once in Serbia, 50 people per cell, no heating etc), perhaps he thinks he\'s some kind of hero in Serbia because he killed Anna Lindh who supported the NATO bombings of the country?

So sorry Mijailo, now you can start "cutting" yourself and pretend you need psychiatric care all you want. Your in the slammer for life YO  (well, not really but for a looong time).

So hopefully this is my last update on the matter, until Mijailo dies that is.

Why not just give him a death penalty and get it over with. Why waste his life to rot in prison when you could just kill him like he killed the girl.

Sweden outlawed the death penalty in 1921.  The rest of Europe has banned the death penalty as well.

Calibre .50 (the lead round balls I have are about 13mm in diameter) , I\'ve shot with it once and its damn powerful. (and inaccurate , but they were only used in the ranges of 10 meters in combat.)
