Logging into MSN without password
« on: January 07, 2005, 12:07:20 PM »
Since getting my new comp about 8 months ago, I noticed that I don\'t need to enter my MSN name & password to log in. On my old computer, when I launched MSN, there were 2 input boxes that had to be filled in. The first one was for the name I used to sign in, the second was the password entry box.

Now, on my new comp, it says my account name, and then a button that says "sign in", and no field for typing in the password.

Up to now, this hasn\'t been a problem, as it\'s only me that uses this computer, but a couple of days ago, my sister came home, and connected to the internet, and by accident she logged into my msn account by mistake.

She isn\'t a malicious person, so I have nothing to worry about in that department, but as you can probably understand, I need (and am entitled to it, even from family members) my privacy.

How do I get it so that I need to enter my password every time I want to log into MSN, rather than the sign in button coming up on it\'s own?

For the record, my old computer was running an older version of MSN, and was on windows 98SE. This computer is on windows XP SP1, and I have MSN v6.2.

Any help would be appreciated.
Don't waste your words I don't need anything from you. I don't care where you've  been or what you plan to do. I am the resurrection and I am the light. I  couldn't ever bring myself to hate you as I'd like.
