How the hell did the linesman at least not see it?

This has got to be the biggest argument to date in favour of introducing video replays to football.

That sucks....

Sorta like my fave hockey team, the Sabres went to the finals in \'99 or so. they were losing a best-of seven series with a 3-1 game difference. Then Brett Hull "scored" the winning goal that ended the series. He did it with his skate in the goal crease (not allowed). Normally, video review should have straightened this up, but they allowed the goal, and we lost. The next year, they changed the rules to allow a player to be in the crease. Bullshit.

I\'m not saying the Sabres would have won, they were outmatched, but they did have a knack for comebacks. Oh well...
