How can I share/send files from my computer to my brother and vice versa?  I have a router that link my computer to his via ethernet cable.

My cousin make our printer sharable, but I still doesn\'t know how to use it.  Its there on the network but I don\'t know how to use it.

you have to share either certain folders or your entire harddrive, it defaults to read-only access which is fine if you just want to share some files.

In your control panel click on "network" then in that window look for something called file and printer  sharing for microsoft windows.  If you don\'t see that, click on the "add" button and add it to the list.

Below all of that there is a box that says "file and print sharing" click that box then check off both options of letting others access to your files and access to your printers.

You may need to reinstall the printer to print over a network.  When you install the driver it should be an option of either a local or network printer.

Hope this helps

Also is the printer connected to the router or is it still connected to the other computer, that would make a slight difference on how everything is set up also. But as far as sharing files just do what Jbean said or you could create a workgroup and share files that way too all the same difference.
