Castlevania, Viewtiful Joe and 2D Mario. Forget about that Famitsu gold dog nonsense:

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (Castlevania: DS. Cool trick.)

Viewtiful Joe DS

Nintendo.com says: Plus the "Joe Camera" lets you pull the upper screen down to literally give Joe a helping hand! It’s touch screen action like you’ve never seen before!

Not sure what to make of it, but the game was innovative before, so this is a promising title.

NEW Super Mario Bros. (2nd screen still don\'t do anything, apparently. Who cares, it\'s 2D Mario)

I\'m thinking they\'re borrowing the team aspect from Donkey Kong Country. Underwater level looks like a treat. The new super powerup makes Mario gigantic and he looks like he just runs through blocks and enemies that way.

2D Mario = gaming heaven.  I can\'t wait.

I\'m even more excited over the footage I have seen for Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, and Trauma Center.

I was looking at some of the software coming out for the DS and I just might buy my first handheld. They have some really interesting software on the horizon.

Yeah, that\'s the cool part. If you want to try something new, it\'s the place to be, even if PSP is prettier.

It\'s been a shaky start so far, but a few games have been worth a look, even if a brief one. (Feel the Magic, Yoshi Touch n Go, maybe WarioWare) Things are looking up, though.

The more I read about DS, man..

In Viewtiful Joe you can split the screen to separate items. A magnet holds a car. Cut it away and the car falls and you can kick it into a crusher.

A new 2D Sonic game with two-screen loops, wackier level designs, loops turned sideways so Sonic runs out toward the camera...

Animal Crossing with its wifi communications and up to 4 ppl sharing a town at once.

The surgery game is quirky cool. There\'s a courtroom simulator.

All sorts of wacky shit. And I probably forgot one or two.
