Hmm, seems to me that the Dem party DOES use them for show. They even have then in congress and house, way more, almost twice as many as Republicans. Damn the Democrats.

As for Republicans, they showed many on TV and have a few in high places. But when it comes to congress...hmm...not very many. So I suppose you are right, the ones on top get the most attention so they appoint some here and there so people would notice. The rest just goes to "whitey".

Did you not comprehend what I said?  I said they don\'t appoint minorities.  This has nothing to do with elections as those congressmen who are elected represent the ethnic makeup of the districts they represent.  Like I said only one elected minority commands respect and that is Obama - the rest are a complete joke - ie. Cynthia McKinney.

This leads me back to my original point - how man minorities have been appointed by the Dems to high level positions?  Name them Mystiq - we aren\'t talking elections dingbat.  If Marion Barry - the coke head DC Mayor can get caught on tape trying to buy drugs, get convicted, serve jail time and get reelected - that shows what mentality these voters have.
