domestic or can they be foreign as well?
the AFI list is pretty encompassing

although, my favorite all time film is "buono, il brutto, il cattivo, il"
know to most as "the good, the bad, and the ugly"
I\'ve seen most if not all classic American movies, so I was thinking of foreign movies. I\'ll take a look at the list, it seems pretty similar to the IMDB top movies.

I\'ve seen most of those, but I\'ll check out the ones that I haven\'t.
I\'ve made a list of directors whose work I want to watch closely. For anyone interested, the list is:
Renoir, Ozu, Kurosawa, Mizoguchi, Truffaut, Bergman, Tarkovsky, Bunuel, Bresson, Pasolini, Paradjanow, Antonioni, Fellini, Kieslowsky, Eisenstein and Polanski.
EDIT: How could I forget my fellow Dane, Carl Th. Dreyer.
