Okay my friends, got it this morning and just played my first game. Here\'s my prognosis: it\'s good! Very very good, in fact. The 2k games havealways been pretty dang good, but holy crap, this year nba is really amazing. I\'m blown away by the sheer realism of the thing. I guess stuff like the crowds and cheerleader don\'t make a difference in the long run, but i\'d be lying if I said it din\'t add to the overall game experience.
In any case, i\'ve only played one game (albeit a long one) but so far i\'m impressed. Gameplay is fluid and realistic and player control is actually tight as reponsive, which ranks very high on the list for me, becuase I can\'t stand games where the players simply don\'t move as you want them to. in the case of 2k6, player contral is very intuative and responds the way you want almost all of the time.
I\'m gonna find out more tomorrow (and the rest of the weekend frankly) as I really dig into this thing, but right now I just wanted to say that so far 2k6 has really got me excited to give a little loved to my Ps2. But that\'ll be tomorrow, because right now i\'m off to bed. Cheers...
