Grew up watching those recycled 60s - 80s TV shows.  I\'m ashamed to say if I see any episode of G.I. I vaguely remember it from wasting my life in front of the TV as a kid.  Just one of those shows that never got old, to me at least. ;)

Always seemed like a cheerful guy in interviews, rip.

I have the pilot episode on my computer.  Man that show sucked so hard core.  I can\'t believe I use to watch it every day.

Bob Denver was actually a skilled comic actor who\'s career was ruined by "Gilligan\'s Island."  I prefer to remember him in the role of Maynard G. Krebs from "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis."
