Question about my stereo
« on: September 19, 2005, 01:34:11 PM »
Maybe some of you tech heads can help me.

I\'m working on making a bit of a home theater for myself and my sound goes into a wall-mount stereo that sends signals out to left, right and subwoofer. The sub and the stereo are plugged into the same duplex.

The problem is at night the blue lights on these units light up the room like a night light. Is it safe to flick the switch and cut power to the units, killing the light?

Yes it\'s safe.  Most manufacturers even want you to unplug all electronics from the wall if you leave the house for a week or more on vacation.

Only thing you have to worry about is the all the settings being reset back to stock.
