Steam bites...
« on: November 29, 2005, 10:58:29 PM »
I\'ve done everything... for some god damn reason whenever I log into steam it has a poor connection and then just dies completely.  I\'ve had my firewall learn steam, and at one point I turned off my firewall and all internet security completely, and still steam refuses to function properly.  I hate steam, it was a stupid idea anyway, why not sell products like the rest of the world.  And is a launcher really neccesary to play games?  Give me a break, I\'ve had it with Valve.

steam is great for getting creases out of clothes, it beats ironing.
Don't waste your words I don't need anything from you. I don't care where you've  been or what you plan to do. I am the resurrection and I am the light. I  couldn't ever bring myself to hate you as I'd like.

Well, here i am at last as well with Steam installed today + HL2 and HL2 Lost Coast.

Steam itself isn\'t giving any problems so far. The only stupid thing is that i had to move it over to my F drive manually after installing it on the relatively small C partition.

Lost Coast runs pretty well at 1280 x 960 with all fancy fx enabled. Of course, it feels more like a glorified tech demo.

Though I can truly say that I am at heart a third person game fan. Seeing this I can only marvel at the thought what team Ico will do on PS3.

For competitive online gamers, Q4 has not come and gone. It\'s the big game this season in pro competition, replacing Painkiller.

Fatal1ty is all over it, as am I!

I\'m enjoying Half-Life 2. Much more than most any other FPS I\'ve played.

Alien Trilogy still owns them all, I\'m afraid.

^Yeah I\'m liking HL2 so far as well. Too bad it also gives me the infamous nausea :(
