Its time we were fair to the people of Palestine. Honestly, what we did was wrong in almost every sense and they should be raising hell about it.

What exactly did we do wrong to the the PALS?  This has been debated here before.  The people of Israel\'s ancesteral home is Palestine as well.  At the end of World War 2 Palestine was divided up with the PALS getting the best land.  The PALS and the Arabs didn\'t like the fact that a non Islamic state was in the region so they all attacked Israel with numerical superiority and got their asses kicked - not once, not twice, not three times - but four times.

You want fair?  How about the Arabs respecting Israels right to exist?  The PALS had a country of their own with the best land and lost it because of their intolerance.  I feel no pity for them especially since they have now thrown another chance at peace out the window.  Now that Hamas is in power and they are directly supported by Iran who has called for Israel\'s destruction repeatedly...

UN Partition Plan prior to the War of Independence - note the land in south Israel is worthless and the best land is in the center of the country.

So what exactly did we do to "them" Halberto?  Seems like they did it to themselves.

Well, we forced them to share land with people they hated. Pretty simple. Yes I read it, and I actually learned how it all unfolded. The bottom line is 2/3 of Palestine was against it. Its the principle behind it. We bullied them. Non violently, but bullied none the less.

I would have to do more specific research on the Hamas to pass thoughts (not even a judgement) on them as an individual.

Well, I have better things to do than that.
