Hey all, I have a V4 PS2, and as i\'m sure you all know, it\'s loud as hell. Well, recently the plastic case cracked (long story...suffice it to say playing baseball in the house is a BAD idea) And I managed to salvage a replacment top cover from a friend\'s broken PS2 (he kept it to use for spare parts). I decided since i\'m gonna have the cover off, I might as well replace that loud fan...I have no issues soldering or anything like that, so thats not an issue. Also, the warranty has long since been expired from me opening the case to replace a bad laser mechanism a few months back (yes I know I could have replaced the fan then, but I honestly didn\'t even think about it...)
My issue is, I have NO idea what size that fan is (the one on the power supply) I know it\'s gotta be either a 60mm or a 40mm based on what it looks like from the outside, but that still doesnt help me...I have a single 60mm laying around and no 40\'s...I just don\'t want to have the case sitting off my PS2 with it useless while I look for the fan...anyone know what size it is????
