Dunno if anyone here uses their forums or not, but over at digitalspy, I just got a 2 day ban for effectively nothing.
Someone posted a topic about one of the chuckle brothers being dead, and asked for confirmation.
I replied with something along the lines of "I don\'t know, wasn\'t one of them banged up for fiddling with a young girl a while back"
To be honest, I made the comment in jest, like many of the other posts made there.
The next thing I know, when checking my emails this morning, I get an email off them saying that I\'d been banned for 48 hours.
The following is an excerpt of their TOS which I allegedly breached
Paragraph 2.1 of our Terms and Conditions states:
\'You must not post or transmit through the Digital Spy Site any defamatory, threatening, obscene, harmful or pornographic material or material which would violate or infringe in any way upon the rights of others (including intellectual property rights, rights of confidentiality, or rights of privacy) or cause distress or inconvenience or which do not comply with all relevant laws.\'
First off, I never said he
was, I was questioning whether he had been, based on the fact that a year or so ago, it was reported in a "certain" newspaper, that he had had an affair with a woman, then was reported to have made advances on her daughter, after which, the "chucklebrothers" franchise went somewhat quiet.
They even sensored the mohammed cartoons thread someone started there.
I have never been banned from a forum before, most certainly not for something so petty.
Fucking nazi tosswanks, I don\'t think I\'ll be going back there again, not at all worth the 5 days it took to have my account validated in the first place.
