All around the world, people love training their brains. Nintendo announced today that Brain Age: Train Your Brain In Minutes A Day! has set a new world record for video game sales, topping four million copies sold worldwide. Most of the title\'s sales were in Japan, where it has sold over three million copies since its initial release fifteen months ago, but Brain Age is also showing signs of strength in America and Europe, where it has passed five hundred thousand copies sold in each market. Part of Brain Age\'s success may be due to its simplicity, which allows for even those who\'ve never played a video game before to easily pick up and play it. The title is still performing well in all three major markets, and was the second-highest seller in the US during the last week of July, behind only New Super Mario Bros.
In Japan, parents bought it for themselves.
You\'re thinking of the right game. I liked it, personally. That makes me .00002% of the game\'s total sales.
While it is often quoted as being the highest selling video game not bundled with a console, it in fact was bundled with "The Challenge Set" release of the NES.
