Watched the PPV last night of Liddell vs Ortiz. Chuck cut Tito open pretty good in the first round but the fight wasn\'t stopped. Tito had a much better showing in the second round but ended up losing in the 3rd due to ref stoppage from a flurry of punches and Chuck defends and holds his title for 7 fights straight.

Only other thing more exciting than the main even was the announcement that Mirko Crocop would finally be fighting in the UFC.

Don\'t know how many mixed martial arts fans we got here but thats basically the jist of the pay per view from last night.

I love this stuff but can\'t justify spending 4x the cost of a movie ticket for something I watch at home.  If I was having a big party over then it\'d be a different story ;)

Anyway I heard about the fight and knew Liddell would come out in the end.  He pretty much embarrased Tito the first time and I was actually surprised to hear you say Tito actually looked like he was gonna win it at some points.

Tito lost much the same way he did the first time around. Just kept taking unanswered punches to the face until it was stopped. Only this time he went a round longer :) He was actually not the usual cocky Ortiz, didn\'t make an excuse and simply said Chuck was the better fighter.

I agree with you on the price. I only purchase them when there is a real big fight on and even then I still go half with someone.

I\'ll be skipping the next one because the main events are very predictable this time around. Unless there is a stunning upset.

I will get the one with Crocop tho

Tito definitely put up a decent fight this time. Almost had Chuck in a decent position where he could do his Tito ground pwnage too but have to hand it to Liddell\'s skills, he was evading them every time then countering, People say Chuck is just a simple striker but there\'s so much more to him and he proved why he\'s the UFC champ.

I\'m more excited about Quinton "Rampage" Jackson joining the UFC, which they talked about after the fight. Only unavenged loss to Liddell, and man did he beat the shit out him the last time they fought. Crocop will be a great addition too. Can\'t wait to see him kick some heads in.

Can\'t wait to see those 2 dudes fight. I know some Pride fans are upset, but i\'m just happy i\'ll get to see them more often.

Yeah Bisbing won in the first round by TKO then when Joe Rogan interviewed him he told everyone to "Watch their fucking back" kind of a douchebag thing IMO.

I like my fighters to be a little humble :)

Forest lost and cried about it (literally) then when Rogan interviewed him he said "he did exactly what I wanted him to do, and knocked me the fuck out"
Then he ran back up the aisle and into the locker room, his whole interview was about 10 seconds.

I love Forrest, but his behaviour struck me as a infant who had their soother taken away. I hope he bounces back.
