actually the crowd is frozen in time during actual races... but in replays they all run around and move and watch you race around... so its kinda lame on that point but oh well

the graphics are amazing altho im only viewing on 1080i atm

Those are in game replay shots. download the 1080 vids, its all in game and looks that damned good.

I\'m downloading it right now. It\'s 625MB though, so it should take a while. =\\

*edit: Doesn\'t look too impressive in 720p, but then again, you get tired real quick playing the same crappy looking level over and over again. The crowds look dead and it\'s just...meh. If there were more levels, it would be a better demo. I\'ve only tried Time Trial so far. Pretty boring. And there\'s no music in the background for some reason. =\\ The demo is...ok, I guess.

A demo is supposed to get the people excited for the game.  If its half assed, they shouldn\'t have released it.  No excuses.

With that said, I don\'t doubt Polyphony\'s ability to produce a highly polished end product.  Although after playing all four in the series, I don\'t think this one will be getting a purchase seeing as they really don\'t/can\'t add much to the game other than tracks and the occasional car.

Ahm...this isnt a GT5 demo or a demo of a future full game. This is just a free GT game for everyone to download.

There is no relation between this GT and the full GT game PD will release in the future.

Nope. They initially wanted to release it as a full downloadable but not free GT game if you remember but later decided to abandon the effort and release this one for free and concentrate on GT5 ;)

The graphics are amazing

I\'m most impressed with the detail of the cars.  There is No \'edge\' to the car anywhere.  They are all full rounded perfectly

Most impressive for me was seeing the drivier\'s chest push the seatbelt strap out when you braked...wow

Some anti-aliasing problems but besides that fixable problem graphics are top notch.
