thats cool, really liked dmc1, dmc2 sucked... what was 3 like???



never really liked the ace combat series.. think i played a lil bit of 1 & 2, they where ok, only played the demo of 3... way to arcadey

The newer AC games were a much much better experience.

DMC3 was superb

My point is, DMC 4 will be a poorly optimized generic port on all systems, in the vain of EA games, and maybe that is an indication of what we are in for this gen, as opposed to first party titles. And yes i regret buying an Xbox 360. I already have a pile of blu-ray movies, but right now the Xbox 360 is better game wise.

Welcome to the wonderful world of multi-platform games. This is exactly why I am not a fan of this practice while it benefits the game companies financially we the gamers get barley optimized games. In some cases the developer goes the extra mile and makes greaty strives in optimizing the game for both consoles, but as we all know most will not bother.

This statement here worries and confuses me. You purchased the 360(a gaming machine) to play games and you admit currently it\'s much better game wise. How is it then that you regret buying the 360 when it\'s doing exactly what it was meant to do, and well at that. Are you trying to tell me that because it will not play Blu-ray that it has become a disappointment and regret. That\'s just ludicrous, it\'s like complaining that the car you bought will not float and sail on water.

360 should have been delayed 6 months and shipped with an internal HD-DVD drive.

animal, you regret getting a 360 and are starting to regret getting a ps3. nice..shouldve just used the grand to wipe ur ass

and i half-agree mm. part of me prefers to have the option of getting the hd-dvd drive and paying the same, or not getting it and not spending the extra 200. The thing  that bugs me more is that the ps3 and the 360 w/ the HD-dvd drive are the same price but the 360 has a way smaller HDD.

but even with the new 360 coming out at some point, theres supposedly still no internal hd-dvd drive

i don\'t mind all of this multi-platforming....i was a bit let down when i used to see video- game mascots cross over,...sonic, crash,....those crash commercials with him standing in front of nintendo\'s headquarters protestin\' were classic...if all major titles go multi-platform, the only thing to seperate systems will be the online service....heh, i don\'t think we\'ll never,...ever see mario on any other system but nintendo tho.

Well you still have first party games that won\'t go cross platform. I think it is good with all the crying about development cost. And maybe this will cause the console makers to go the extra to get you to purchase their consoles.

Recently a Microsoft spokesman said a HD-DVD drive won\'t ship built in the new Xbox 360 2.0 because HD-DVD is an \'unproven\' technology.  So much for Microsoft thinking HD-DVD will be the HD format of choice
